The two words that combine to make the name of a 1990 movie title, highlighted above, spell out PROBLEM CHILD

Patron Cathy Bowen said that she found this "Tricky! Poltergeist really fooled me for a while.  I also wondered if there wasn’t a movie called AWESOMELY COURAGEOUS or NICEST GRAPEFRUIT or, my favorite, PRETTY CRESTFALLEN, but IMDB tells me we’ll have to wait at least another year for those."

Solver Sam Levitin noted that there were "Lots of tempting red herrings, like Total Recoil" [as opposed to Total Recall. The other red herring in the top grid was PRETTY, as in Pretty Woman]
