This puzzle contains the seed word FRAMEWORK, suggested by Patron M. Sean Molley
Once again, I included a red herring in this puzzle (this time, it was me including DROLL instead of DRILL in grid #2), and some of my solvers noticed; Patron Cathy Bowen had found this "Very tricky, because I was SURE it was 'pneumatic drill' for a long time!", while solver Sam Levitin said "I really wanted the answer to be 'pneumatic drill', but I couldn't make it work."
