Now just head below the break for the answers, as well as some user comments (there's a lot of them this time around!).

The outermost posts spell out the question WHO CREATED THE DRAMA PICKET FENCES? (Well, technically, it's a comedy-drama, but that phrase doesn't exactly fit), and the answer to that is DAVID E. KELLEY
Solver Grant Fikes "Had to look that one up. I also am not up on my Supernatural, Street Fighter, Macbeth, New York Cosmos, and U.S. Acres, but I didn't need to look those nonessential things up."
Well, you'd be grumpy too if you were the only female character in U.S. Acres... |
Solver Paolo Pasco "Just noticed the tie-in to the "fences" theme. Really good meta!"
Solver Adam Weaver "...managed to do this without looking anything up (except the final answer). It was a big help knowing that the outside spelled out a message."
Solver M. Sean Molley had been absent for a while, so he sent me the answers to not only this puzzle, but the previous one ("Squeezed in the Middle") as well. Unfortunately, I had already posted the answers to "Squeezed" roughly 22 hours before he sent his answers, so I can't give him credit for that one, but I can credit him for solving this one! Anyways, he said that "I have never actually played [Monster Rancher] or watched the TV show ... but I recognize their names! :)"
Solver Tyler Hinman wondered "Why the var. tag on FILBERT?" Well, it's because Filburt's name is usually spelled with a "U", but that's not always the case.
"Oh, fishsticks..." |
Solver Christian H.P. noted that he "Love[s] Picket Fences. Best Holly Marie Combs show ever!"
Solver Sam Levitin said that this was an "Interesting puzzle type. Very enjoyable."
