ANSWERS: Meta-Crossword #1 ("Episodic Game")

Well, it's been two weeks since I've published my first meta-crossword, so it's time to post the answers! If you haven't solved it yet, you can print it out here, or play it online here. Before I reveal the answers, however, here's a list of people who have successfully completed one or both BONUS PUZZLES (People who solved both get plusses instead of asterisks, and people who solved it before I revealed the hint get two of them while those afterwards just get one):
  • Grant Fikes **
  • Adam Weaver ++
  • Pao Pasco **
  • Andy Keller ++
  • Evan Birnholz ++
  • Tim Harrod ++
  • Justin Weinbaum ++
  • Andrew Foerster ++
  • Christopher Krosche **
  • Charles Montpetit ++
  • Steve Moran ++
  • Alex Jeffrey ++
  • Peter Abide ++
  • Matthew Breen +
  • M. Sean Molley +
  • Joe Fendel ++ (he had lost his copy of the puzzle in his pocket for a week and that's why I'm giving him two plusses instead of one)
  • Tyler Fultz +
Now just go below the break for the answers!

Here are the five theme entries:
  • 17-A [Sign that a store looking for employees posts] = HELP WANTED
  • 22-A [Johnny Bravo's birthday (or "birthdate" depending on which version you played)] = VALENTINE'S DAY
  • 36-A [Putting things off 'til next eternity, for example] = PROCRASTINATION
  • 43-A [You used to get this free if it was over 30 minutes] = PIZZA DELIVERY
  • 55-A [Classic KISS song that starts with an instrumental lasting about two minutes] = ROCK BOTTOM
So what do these have all in common? Well, they're all names of episodes from SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, which was the answer to our BONUS PUZZLE! As for the BONUS BONUS PUZZLE, that would be PROCRASTINATION, because that's a season 2 episode and all the rest are from season 1.

However, solver Andrew Foerster pointed out that ROCK BOTTOM could also be an acceptable BONUS BONUS PUZZLE answer, since, to quote him, "according to Wikipedia,[...] all of the episodes you included are leading segments (labeled with an "a" in the episode list) except for "Rock Bottom" (which was a second segment)." I admit that I didn't think of this possibility, but he wound up giving me the intended answer too, so he gets points either way! Also, solver Charles Montpetit gave an alternate reason for ROCK BOTTOM being an odd one out, as it's the only listed episode that doesn't have the letter "A" in it.
